Dear Friends of ECO-Action,

Every penny counts with a small grassroots group such as ourselves (send money!) and we have come upon a win/win source of collecting some small change.

Goodsearch.com is a search engine that takes money from advertisers – as they all do – and gives a portion to non-profit groups. But this search engine let’s you SELECT which charity you want your pennies going to. I have changed my Home Page to GoodSearch, and have been using it for about a month, and am very satisfied with it. Each time I use the search engine, ECO-Action gets a penny.

If you are willing to use the GoodSearch engine, the link above will take you to the page where you can set it up as your home page and also to define which charity benefits. In this field type ECO Action, and it should fill in Casselberry, Florida automatically. GoodSearch has screened and tested us, and we have qualified as a charity you may select. Please do. And then do a lot of cruising on the super-highway!

Once you have selected ECO Action, it can stay there and doesn’t need to be entered each time you use the search engine. You will see each time the search page is pulled up, ECO-Action will already be there.

I have been using it for a month, and have raised 31 cents for ECO-Action. If we all use it (and please spread the word) those pennies can become dollars, just as the aluminum cans we take as donations can be crushed and redeemed for pennies per can – which collectively earns us about $100 per truckload of crushed, clean cans. It’s a win/win, just the way we like it!
